Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Depart early from Marrakech and journey through the winding Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ait Barka village for mint tea or coffee with scenic views.
Continue to Talouet Kasbah and then explore the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Ben Haddou with a local guide. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Head to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Cinema Studio and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
Drive through the Skoura palm groves and Rose Valley, stopping at a women’s cooperative to learn about rosewater production and enjoy rose tea.
Arrive in Dades Valley in the evening.
Overnight in Dades in a charming riad or hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga
